2019Polsinelli Launches Women-Led Seattle Patent Group
We are pleased to announce that patent attorneys Emily Peyser and Katherine Lee have joined Polsinelli’s Seattle office.
Ms. Peyser is a Shareholder with a background as a chemical engineer at several industry-leading companies. She handles every stage in the lifecycle of her clients’ intellectual property assets, with an emphasis on planning, procurement of U.S. and foreign patents, opinions, enforcement, and licensing.
Ms. Lee is a Counsel with an M.S. and B.S. in Electrical Engineering. She supports clients in various technical industries with patent prosecution, patent portfolio development, pre-litigation analysis, post-grant proceedings, and patent litigation.
In 2018, Polsinelli launched its Seattle office with a group of experienced business attorneys. As reported in The American Lawyer, Polsinelli plans to build its Seattle IP team as part as a nationwide push to expand its IP practice. Ms. Peyser told The American Lawyer that she and her women patent colleagues were particularly attracted to Polsinelli because the firm has a “Women in Intellectual Property” initiative. “Polsinelli believes that we provide better client service with a diverse team of attorneys,” she said. “And that’s also a belief that I hold, and so it just seems like a perfect match for me to move to Polsinelli.”

Halley Agnello has joined Fluke Electronics Corporation as Chief Compliance Counsel. Previously, she worked at Apple Inc. in Global Security Investigations, and was an Assistant U.S. Attorney for the Northern District of Illinois. Ms. Agnello graduated cum laude from Harvard Law School.
