Nintendo Adds Business & Technology Attorney

Harris Legal Search congratulates Negin Yazdani on joining Nintendo as Corporate Counsel.  Prior to joining Nintendo, Yazdani served as Corporate Attorney at aerospace company Virgin Orbit.  She graduated from the University of California, Davis School of Law, where she served as Managing Editor of Law Review.

Seattle Labor & Employment Boutique Hires Experienced Litigation Associate

Harris Legal Search is pleased to announce that Dan Rogers  has joined Davis Grimm Payne & Marra.  Rogers worked previously on employment and litigation cases at another Seattle law firm.  He graduated cum laude from Gonzaga University School of Law, where he served on Law Review, and was awarded the Washington State Bar Association Labor and Employment Grant for Gonzaga Law.

Global Gaming Company Hires Intellectual Property Counsel

Aristocrat Digital has hired Alexander Montgomery as Corporate Counsel, Intellectual Property.  Montgomery practiced previously at Davis Wright Tremaine and Perkins Coie, and most recently supported intellectual property matters at Microsoft.  Montgomery graduated from the University of Washington School of Law.

Aristocrat Digital is home to Big Fish Games (Seattle and Oakland) and Product Madness (London).  A world leading social games business, Aristocrat Digital generated over one billion dollars in aggregate revenue in 2019.

Global Trade Attorney Joins International Commerce Company at DC HQ

We are pleased to announce that Christopher Tipler has joined Amazon as Associate Corporate Counsel, Global Trade.  Tipler will focus on complex global sanctions issues.   Previously, he was an associate in the Washington, D.C. and Paris offices of Jones Day.  After graduating from the University of Pennsylvania Law School, Tipler clerked for the U.S. Court of Federal Claims and U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.

Polsinelli’s Seattle Office Welcomes Health Care Shareholder

We are pleased to announce that Lori Oliver has joined Polsinelli’s Seattle office as Shareholder in the Health Care group.  A health care industry veteran, Oliver has served as Associate Vice President for Medical Affairs and Director of Legal and Business Affairs at University of Washington (“UW”) Medicine.

Oliver counsels health care organizations in strategic affiliations and relationship strategies, clinical alignment initiatives, complex clinical research. and governance issues.  She is also well-versed in compliance issues including fraud and abuse, Stark, HIPAA and state privacy laws, federal research regulations, and Medicaid and Medicare reimbursements. 

In 2018, AmLaw 100 law firm Polsinelli launched its Seattle office with a group of experienced business attorneys.  “As our Seattle office continues its strategic growth, we are excited to have Lori join us in building Polsinelli’s West Coast health care presence,” said Polsinelli Seattle Office Managing Partner Jane Pearson.

Global Application Services/Cybersecurity Company Hires Senior Technology Attorney

F5 Networks, Inc. has hired Ranjit Narayanan as Assistant General Counsel/Senior Director, Legal to support its cybersecurity subsidiary, Shape Security, Inc., in Santa Clara, California.  Narayanan was previously Deputy General Counsel at MobileIron, and a technology transactions attorney at Fenwick and West and DLA Piper in the Bay Area.  Narayanan graduated from Santa Clara University School of Law and earned a  B.S. in Bioengineering from U.C. Berkeley.   

F5 Networks (NASDAQ: FFIV) powers applications across multi-cloud environments for enterprise businesses, service providers, governments, and consumer brands that provide secure digital experiences.  In January 2020, F5 acquired Shape Security, a leader in online fraud and abuse prevention.

The Seattle office of global law firm K&L Gates welcomes Christopher Bellavia as a corporate partner.  Mr. Bellavia is an experienced corporate attorney who recently served as General Counsel and Corporate Secretary for consumer goods company Bulletproof 360, as well as General Counsel at Fisher Communications, and Assistant General Counsel at Washington Mutual.

Former SCOTUS Clerk for Chief Justice Roberts Joins Boeing Global Services

Harris Legal Search is pleased to announce that Ben Tyson has joined Boeing Global Services as Senior Counsel in St. Louis.  Boeing Global Services provides aftermarket services and equipment to commercial, defense, and space customers around the world.

Prior to joining Boeing, Mr. Tyson was a litigation partner at Kirkland & Ellis in Chicago.  He graduated first in his class from the University of Virginia School of Law, while also earning an MBA.  After law school, Mr. Tyson clerked for several federal judges, including the Honorable John G. Roberts, Jr., Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of the United States.
