Port of Seattle Hires General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer

Harris Legal Search is pleased to announce that Pete Ramels has joined the Port of Seattle’s leadership team as General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer. The Port of Seattle plays a key role in the local economy, providing maritime and airport operations and other activities that drive job growth and increase prosperity throughout the Puget Sound region. Mr. Ramels will work closely with the Executive Director and Port Commission. Prior to joining the Port, Mr. Ramels served as Senior Deputy Prosecuting Attorney in the Civil Division of the King County Prosecutor’s Office, with expertise in government, real estate, and land use.
